Move over, forgotten middle. There’s another forgotten group, a generation asserting its influence over all aspects of society, including senior living, according to the Mather Institute.
The organization has embarked on a five-year exploration of the key lifestyle trends, attitudes and interests of Gen X with “The Gen Xperience Year 1 Report.” And so far, its findings show that senior living providers need to be ready to support members of Gen X, also known as the MTV generation, as employees, adult children of residents and prospective residents, and future residents themselves.
